Job description | Structural Engineer Yacht Building

As a Structural Design Engineer Yacht Building, you are part of the Engineering Team specialising in mega yacht projects +100m. You take on, independently or in a team, the project design and set up the detailed structural design according to the basic design and technical specification using Siemens NX. You are able to come up with creative solutions for complex problems to provide production support.

Furthermore, your tasks will be:

  • Gather project information and analyze drawings
  • Perform the 3D design of structures ensuring integration with the rest of the project
  • Create detailed engineering packages based on basic design and technical specifications
  • Actively cooperate with the other disciplines in the execution of the tasks
  • Analyze and check the drawings in the process from engineering to production and delivery
  • Support in solving problems within the production
  • Communicate with the external parties and customers

Job requirements | Structural Engineer Yacht Building

  • BSc. or MSc. in Naval Architecture or equivalent engineering degree
  • At least 2 years of experience in Structural Engineering in the yacht or shipbuilding industry
  • Good working knowledge of Foran or/and Siemens NX
  • Clear and proactive communicator
  • Result and quality-oriented
  • Excellent command of English
