Job description | EPC Procurement Coordinator

As Procurement Coordinator you are part of the project team, and you are in charge of procurement services and subcontracting within international projects in the field of Offshore Oil & Gas. From the tender phase of projects to completion, you take the lead in setting up, supervising, and implementing the entire procurement process.

Your duties include:

  • Managing purchasing, expedition, logistics, and inspection issues
  • Leading a team of transport and logistics experts, preachers, and expeditors
  • Setting up project procurement plan and being a contact person
  • Establishing contracts terms and conditions in cooperation with the legal department
  • Supervising the purchasing and delivery process from contract formation and logistics to construction
  • Independently requesting and negotiating materials, equipment, and services to be purchased
  • Processing all commercial issues with suppliers along the project
  • Staying in close cooperation with Section Head Procurement and Project Manger
  • Coordinating commissioning, repair, and warranty activities with subcontractors on site

Job requirements | EPC Procurement Coordinator

  • BSc. degree in a relevant (technical or commercial) discipline
  • +8 years of experience in technical procurement
  • Experience with managing complex projects within the Oil & Energy sector
  • Excellent negotiation, planning, and communication skills
  • Deep knowledge of Incoterms
  • Good command of English (written and spoken)
