Your opportunity

Step into the pivotal role of Transport Engineer, where your deep expertise in heavy lifts and transportation will be instrumental in shaping the future of maritime and shipbuilding endeavors. Engage in the dynamic orchestration of transport and replacement operations, encompassing everything from detailed hoisting plans to the precise lifting and repositioning of massive constructs. Your role will be critical in reviewing and approving project documentation, ensuring seamless transitions through each phase of transportation.

What you will do

  • Design overviews and layouts for optimal construction site strategy
  • Determine berthing strategies for efficient ship launching and outfitting
  • Develop comprehensive lifting plans and instructions for complex maneuvers
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for successful transport executions
  • Perform risk assessments for high-risk activities and transport
  • Prepare and present detailed project planning and evaluations

What you already have

  • Demonstrated experience in heavy lift engineering and maritime operations
  • Proven ability in sequencing work and realistic planning, ideally within the shipbuilding sector
  • Vocational or Bachelor's degree in a related technical field
  • Strong command of English, Dutch proficiency is a plus
  • Ready for a pre-employment security screening; EU citizenship required
