Your opportunity

As a Senior Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for delivering meticulous electrical designs that align with the technical specifications, budget, and project timelines. Your focus will be on electrical design for FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading), Renewable, and SPM (Single Point Mooring) projects, offering you a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise to challenging new ventures.

What you will do

  • Create comprehensive Electrical designs for various projects, adhering to technical specifications and project requirements
  • Collaborate with project teams and report progress, setbacks, and concerns to the Lead (Project) Engineer
  • Identify and communicate technical risks and anomalies in projects
  • Utilize AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and in-house engineering tool PinDB, which is based on the object database ZODB and developed in Python
  • Work with 3D models created in PDMS, Inventor, Plant3D, and/or Acad3D

What you already have

  • BSc. or MSc. in Electrical Engineering
  • +8 years of relevant working experience in Electrical engineering and design in the oil & gas industry
  •  A pragmatic and operation-minded approach, demonstrating the ability to balance technical expertise with practical considerations
  • Experience with 3D modeling software (PDMS, Inventor, Plant3D, Acad3D)
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English, so you can communicate efficiently with your multicultural team, authorities, and clients worldwide
  • Willingness to travel abroad to visit construction sites
