Your opportunity

As a Quality Inspector, you play a vital role in ensuring the quality and compliance of materials, components, and equipment. Your responsibilities include reviewing the supplier's quality documentation and conducting quality inspections. Collaboration with project teams, suppliers, and the Inspection Coordinator is crucial for seamless operation and communication to uphold integrity and reliability.

What you will do

  • Participate in Kick Off and Pre-Inspection meetings
  • Conduct quality inspections following approved Inspection Test Plans
  • Document inspection findings, recording test results, and maintaining inspection records
  • Review progress status at suppliers during stage inspections
  • Collaborate with project teams to address quality issues and ensure timely resolution
  • Issue inspection waivers in conjunction with and approved by the responsible Project Engineer
  • Liaise with assigned certifying authority surveyors, issue, and close-out non-conformance reports and punch lists where applicable
  • Authorize equipment release by issuing a Release Note, in conjunction with the certifying authority surveyor
  • Provide feedback to the Engineering department on fabrication-related matters
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and procedures

Besides having proven capabilities in engineering and developing installations for harsh offshore conditions, they own and operate their own fleet of FPSOs. What you already have

  • A BSc. degree in a technical field
  • Proven +5 years of inspection experience in the offshore industry
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
  • Flexibility to regular travel to suppliers, primarily within Europe
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Familiarity with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspection techniques
  • Valid driver's license
