Your opportunity

Are you interested in being responsible for the planning of complex shipbuilding projects?

As a Project Planner, you will assume a pivotal role, ensuring the strategic and efficient planning of diverse projects from their initial phase through to completion. You will be collaborating and communicating across various departments, synthesizing information to create comprehensive project plans. Your responsibilities will include the generation of detailed progress reports and the proactive identification and resolution of potential project delays and bottlenecks. In this role, you will be working alongside the logistics team, ensuring that all equipment and resources are delivered on schedule, and engaging in critical discussions and negotiations regarding import/export requirements. 

What you will do

  • Create and maintain integrated project plans, ensuring adherence to planning methodologies and monitoring deadlines for all project phases 
  • Coordinate engineering resources across departments, aligning team capacity with project demands and master schedules 
  • Prepare and manage comprehensive schedules, utilizing project plans, time statistics, and progress overviews to track milestones 
  • Actively monitor project progression, anticipating needs and delivering creative management solutions to potential challenges 
  • Analyze project data for effective portfolio management, optimizing both resource allocation and operational efficiency 
  • Initiate process improvements and implement strategic adjustments to enhance project outcomes 
  • Promote clear communication and collaboration among project managers, team leaders, subcontractors, and other stakeholders

What you already have

  • +3 years' experience in leading complex technical projects, preferably in the shipbuilding industry 
  • BSc.or MSc. degree in Logistics, Operations, or Supply Chain Management, paired with experience in project management 
  • Understanding and experience with manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain processes 
  • In-depth knowledge of the project management lifecycle, from initial phases through to completion 
  • Apply Earned Value Management methodologies to measure and secure project performance 
  • Have hands-on experience with project planning tools like Primavera P6 or their equivalents 
  • Willing to undergo a background check and hold EU citizenship due to the nature of defense project
