Your opportunity

Dive into the heart of maritime innovation as a Project Manager Engineering E&A within the Engineering department, dedicated to the Business Unit for Service Vessels. Join a dynamic, multidisciplinary project team, working in sync with colleagues across shipbuilding and mechanical engineering, procurement, suppliers, and cutting-edge shipyards. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee the seamless integration of onboard systems, orchestrating cooperation among various engineering disciplines and leading the charge towards rigorous testing and compliance with stringent contractual requirements.

What you will do

  • Lead E&A engineering activities, ensuring the integration and testing of electrical and automation systems on new build vessels align with project goals
  • Manage project timelines, quality, and costs, taking full ownership of project outcomes
  • Coordinate project information flow across departments and locations, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines for seamless system integration and resolve related engineering issues
  • Review and address requirements from class/flag states, suppliers, and clients to ensure system compatibility
  • Oversee system integration to comply with EMI/EMC regulations and interface requirements
  • Facilitate project integration reviews and coordinate document reviews including plans and reports
  • Support testing phases such as HIL, FAT, HAT, and SAT, ensuring system performance and compliance

What you already have

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Automation Engineering or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in complex electrical and automation systems design, integration, and installation
  • Proficiency in developing Control & Monitoring systems
  • Strong English communication skills, Dutch is a plus
  • Openness to travel for short durations, approximately 1-2 times a year
