Your opportunity

As a Team Lead, you will be leading a team of outfitting engineers on various levels and you will report to the project manager of engineering. You will be working on shipbuilding projects and ensuring that the project meets the quality standards. You will plan and manage the budgets, coordinate with vendors, and ensure compliance with the regulations. 

What you will do

  • Lead a team of outfitting engineers on shipbuilding projects
  • Ensure that outsourced engineering meets quality standards
  • Effectively plan work and manage budgets
  • Complete engineering tasks according to schedule and requirements
  • Supervise the team's use of Cadmatic and Catia
  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors, assess offers, and review designs
  • Monitor project progress and report to the Project Manager
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and standards
  • Contribute to the development of departmental standards and methodologies

What you already have

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with over 5 years of experience in outfitting engineering
  • Proficiency in Cadmatic or Catia, with experience in ship or offshore contexts
  • Experience in leading engineering teams and managing work packages
  • Understanding of SOLAS, Lloyds Register, and DNV regulations
  • Familiarity with vendors, subcontractors, and quality assurance practices
  • Clean background check is required
  • EU citizenship and passport are necessary
